International Non-Government Organizations (INGOs)

INGOs are organizations formed for the purpose of interpersonal relations by people of all countries that have a common theme. For example: This is where a person from Australia meets a person from France and decides to work together to help a person from Pakistan who has been the victim of a natural disaster or civil unrest. How this is achieved is by these people asking their respective governments to recognize the basic humanitarian needs of the suffering people and commit to a joint action in delivering this aid. These three nations then decide on an acceptable code of conduct that will be respected by them, this then enables others who become involved to work under this code of conduct to deliver practical and lasting results to the suffering people. An INGO is non-political and non-religious yet in its actions of helping these suffering people it maintains the sovereignty and dignity of them.

International Law

International Law is any law that is accepted by governments as binding on all people equally, an example of this is a covenant, commandment or rite that is accepted by people as their standard of living. For example in the common law it is not acceptable to steal, this is also equivalent in the religious law as a commandment. All governments recognize this law of not stealing and subsequently apply it principles to all people in that country regardless of status. International Law is then the common law standards of living that can be expected by all people regardless of race, creed, sex or religion. The members of the Gadian Society may travel and work freely in countries that recognize these standards of international law in delivering humanitarian aid, educational support or civil support to countries whose people are suffering from natural or unnatural events.

Common Law

Common Law is any law that is accepted by people in general as having a binding on all people equally regardless of current governmental law. It is the basic acts of people in preserving their living standards agree to a set of principles that eventually become common law, an example of this is the international driver’s license and it principle of stopping at a red light. This principal has become a common law accepted by all people who would drive cars in any country whether as part of their holiday or work. Breaking this law has equal consequences, both civil and personal.

Common Laws are the basis of all governments, they are a set of standards, courtesies or principles that in the event of situations that makes it impossible for a nation to govern its peoples because of natural disasters or civil unrest, the people are able rely on common courtesies in their dealing with each other. All national laws are built upon these standards, courtesies and principles.

General Consent

General Consent is when a person, people give their permission for a particular event to take place, this maybe from a medical procedure to a democratic election, regardless of the event, it is always followed by the persons expectation that these events will to be carried out with a full duty of care shown to them. A person in granting general consent does not surrender their own sovereignty but has it enhanced by the actions of one or more people. An example is when a person who has to have a life saving operation has their life enhanced by the team of people who would perform that operation. This same principal applies to actions of INGOs in their countries of operation.
