The Gadian Organization is a International Non-Government Organisation (INGO) that is recognised by many countries (108 in total) as a humanitarian organization, any person can participaite in its administration and services which include the Gadian Society, Gadian Institute, Gadian Library which are run under the Gadian Organization. As recognized by the European convention on the recognition of the legal personality of INGOs (1991).

Definition: The Definition of an INGO is an organisation recognised by international governments as an organisation (intergovernmental organizations) that has benefits to all people regardless of race creed or religion, the NGO is granted certain courtesies and diplomatic respects in relation to its services provided in those countries. The members of the NGO are respected as having limited priviliges in relation to these courtesies and diplomatic respects, being able to travel to other countries with the recognition as being a person of acceptable standards to their member countries. Members of NGO's are veted by their respective governments as people of good standing. Many members service in diplomatic or consulate missions as liasons or counselors with the functions of ensuring the continious supply of esential services to their nations, those of other nations who have suffered natural disasters or civil strife. Members of NGO'S are not politcally active nor religious zealots, but are neutral in case of war, serving all peoples and all governments with the same level of courtesy and diplomatic respect as shown to them.

The Gadian Society is a common law society (humanitarian) with it aim the continious support for and re-establishment of the basic living conditions for all people, it is no political yet it is diplomatic, it is non-religious yet it is the oldest religion of all, that has at its principles the rites of all people.

The Gadian's as a people share in aid programs, community development programs, disaster relief. They serve in their capacity as electrical, mechanical, transportation, communication, health, educational, social and diplomatic as needed.

The Gadian's history dates back to very ancient times, with its first recorded history spoken of by Plato in 400BC, with archeological references to Mesopetainia and Egypt dating to 4500BC and 8500BC.

An event recorded in the history of England show how the princiles of the Gadian's have suffered due to politcal and religious persecution, it is the true story of O'Rourke.

In the Ancient history of Ireland: James 6th, king of Scotland, having previously made peace with Elizabeth, not withstanding her barbarous treatment of his mother, Queen Mary, had O'Rourke arrested in violation of all the sacred rights of hospitality toward man, whose only crime was his having exercised that virtue to men in distress, whom the most inhuman could not view in the light of enemies.
         
This monarch sent him in chains to Elizabeth, who ordered him to be hanged at Tyburn without even the form of a trial.
         
When O'Rourke's last hour was approaching, he was visited by a Protest Bishop, who exhorted him to conform to the religion of the Queen and of the state, but all his importunity could not shake the faith of that illustrious man, who firmly replied "Remember from what you yourself have fallen: think of returning to the church, that you may regain the grace of Gad: as for me, I shall die in the religion which you have deserted". Many events like this one have been recorded throughout history, with some being referred to as the stateless one, gypsies, nomads, pilgrims, non-conformists, loners, but this has often been unfair, in modern society it is referred to be spiritual, following your own path, living by the grace of God and many other terms. With more people becoming aware of the role they play in government, religion and businesses, we are seeing a changes in the way our society is dealing with problems that affect all people equally.

The Irish word for eel is EASG so this is not AGHADE, but the Gaelic term GAD meaning "withe" or "rod" would seem to account for the site name AGHADE. As a county name, Carlow in Gaelic is said to derive from Ceathar Loch "four lakes", perhaps the four main stars of the Pleiades. However, the accepted current Gaelic name for the Pleiades is Griog Lach = Carlow.
