Jesus understood the minds of men. He knew what was in the heart of man, and had his teachings been left as he presented them, the only commentary being the inspired interpretation afforded by his earth life, all nations and all religions of the world would speedily have embraced the gospel of the kingdom. The well-meant efforts of Jesus' early followers to restate his teachings so as to make them the more acceptable to certain nations, races, and religions, only resulted in making such teachings the less acceptable to all other nations, races, and religions.
On three sources of knowledge:
"Then they shall seek vision from the prophet in vain; instruction shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders." (Ezekiel 7:26)
To the priests:
"Drink no wine or other intoxicant, you or your sons, when you enter the Tent of Meeting, that you may not die. This is a law for all time throughout the ages, for you must distinguish between the sacred and the profane, and between the unclean and the clean; and you must teach the Israelites all the laws which the Lord has imparted to them through Moses" (Leviticus 10:9-11) following sacred=kashrut, clean=tzara'at
"Let me be a seal upon your heart, like the seal upon your hand. For love is fierce as death, passion is mighty as Sheol; its darts are darts of fire, a blazing flame. Vast floods cannot quench love, nor rivers drown it. If a man offered all his wealth for love, he would be laughed to scorn." (Song of Songs 8:6-7)
On the other hand, revelation, like prophecy, comes to each individual in accordance with his capacities. When the voice went forth at Sinai, God addressed each person with a voice he could endure (Ex. R. 5:9). (EJ=Revelation)
Philosophy - Knowing the Truth; Philosophy says, "That to begin you must start from some where, an object, thought, time, place known and go from there".
This beginning must be known to others and be identified with who they are. This identity must therefore include their philosophies as well their place of beginning.
When these two beginnings meet we can now form the third known as truth, that which exists in both of us and is common to both and others as yet unknown.
Truth that can be said as universal, having its origin in two known facts and being perceived buy the third, this has often been referred to as the trinity 1) Father = First knowing, 2) Son = Second knowing, 3) Holy Spirit = All (people) knowing.
From this we can test the truth of everything seen and unseen, heard and unheard, touched or untouched, tasted or untasted, smelt or unsmelt, this principle applies to seeing a flower, without the other 4 senses being used - just the truth of what is seen.
Philosophy and truth are inseparable - nothing can begin without it first finding its existence in a known truth, for example the plant has its existence in the seed, the seed has its existence layed out for it by the mind of the plant, its philosophy of life - contained in the truth of the seed. This is an example and does not become a known fact until it can be conceived by others thus completing the trinity.
It has been said "That when there is no thought, there is no thinker", but there still exists the witness to this. Thus we have the trinity that which is, that which was, that which is the potential of the two as the third.
Principle is the wedding of a universal "truth" principle (eternal law) with the physical application of that truth.
The Gádian Wisdom in its teachings is life orientated, in relating truth to life.
The quality of truth is constant - common sense.
What you know to be true is actually what you are now.
You must believe in your grandest truth, and live it, then the truth will set you free.
If energy can never be created or destroyed then when does "it" exist, except only in thought, so what is thought?
You have to live what you realise.
These principles are written by man for man, they be no way complete, but form the basis upon which all other laws are predicated.
These principles are not given from gods long ago, but by a man whom is long since dead, not as a religion or observances of faith, but as a guide to man so they may learn that all things whether animal, vegetable or mineral obey the same laws in order for them to exist.
Whether we exist or do not exist is the same as thought justifies the reality of the thinker. To be able to think that we do or do not is it self proof that we do.
Pain either emotionally or physically is like kicking the corner of the coffee table in the dark, it lasts as long as the natural healing process, then it is over. Everything is real nothing is maya (Illusion) suffering happens when you come in contact with the unseen reality and know not its nature. So we start with the fact that everything is real and we come to understand that, like going to the top of the centre-point tower in Sydney or top of the Blue Mountains to see NSW's, or space to see the world etc.
What happens when the principle has stopped working, and you are the holders of that principle, for example the RTA and a broken red light?
Universe = "Uni" - 1, "Verse" - story/statement = the narrative of your life.
As you grow in the understanding of this principle every area of life develops, heart, mind, body and environment, when it is properly understood it is a principle of giving up life. It is adding to life the conscious understanding of life, it is not about how great any god is, but about how great you are, if you haven't learnt this, then you have learnt nothing, because the role of life is to be forever in charge of your life.
With a correct understanding, it should prove extremely simple to revive this ancient teaching in each person for the good of all humanity (all life).
Jesus as well as many others came to teach us this principle, when He said "this and more ye shall do".
What is right? The only thing that is right is that which brings you to an understanding of who you are now, some call it truth.
It should raise their awareness of the universal problem behind their lives, in raising the interest of their own god like nature as they call it to respond.
To ultimately apply what they know instead of just preaching its application, but shows how it can apply it to their lives, what its consequences are and the need for them to use it, and where the application of these principles show up in the lives of others.
We recognise that the quality of our thoughts is thus directly responsible for the state of our wellbeing, our progress and our longevity.
This man that gave these principles to us more than 49,000 years before our known calendar, was the first man to see the truth behind his existence, these principles have remained the same, even though the passing of the years, they have remained unchanged, having the same affect on us as they did then.
In order for man to survive he must not depart from these principles, in applying them in their own individual concept and personality.
The laws & principles of the Gádian Faith are made clear to the many through the help of Jesus Christ who said "I have not come to do away with the law but to fulfil it". It is his understanding of how the laws and principles affect everyone who would establish a life as he lived.
He (Jesus) through living Gods principles in a clear and essential way showed us the spirit of leadership required in our actions when teaching and sharing our truths and works with others.
But this only works when every member is willingly doing their part, in teaching the young men and women how through their works they can be the best in looking after this world.
The body of the spirit needs you, do your best to find a place to serve God and start contributing whatever time, and talent you have. Life in the holy spirit is not only a disciplining parent, but also a demanding coach who pushes us to our limits at times and requires our life to be lived and experienced not just exist.
Sometimes when life seems hard we are required to draw on our own strengths and encourage those around us to reach out to the world with love and faith in the Gádian Faith of who we are.
We live in the immortal spirit; we are the miracle of the entire universe/cosmos that goes beyond mortality, so when you have become this it shall be possible to teach others of this miracle.
How unaware we are of what the "real" really is, these three words are used to tell us how the Spirit makes known to us the way in which we are; 1) "Instruction" is the enlightening of our intelligence, 2) "Teaching" is the pointing out of a definitive course, 3) "Guidance" is the advice needed for particular problems
All three are needed in life at the same time. We are all alike in 3 ways; 1) We're influenced by the spirit, 2) We're given gifts by the spirit, 3) We're immersed in the spirit
For we all partake of the one spirit, we are all immersed into one body of humanity.
When you begin to see that our true centre of life is in the spirit, then all the rest of our lives must be adjusted to that new and true fact. A life with the spirit is the real and true life, and all else is modeled and integrated by it, everything is at hand, right here at the center. All power, all peace, all wisdom for eternal choices.
Were moving into the practical nitty-gritty how to of the established fact of the indwelling of us in the Spirit. When you understand this, you'll live from the center out, rather from the outside in, instead of now living in reaction to one situation, then another and so on, happy or unhappy depending on each external circumstance.
We are trying to be several selves at once, without all our selves being organized by a single mastering self within us.
Each of us tends to be, not a single self, but a whole committee of selves. There is the civic self, the parent self, the financial self, the religious self, the society self, the professional self, the literary self…, but the Spirit first of all calls us to live within ourselves. There we find integration, we find unity, and we find simplicity. One Spirit, One Truth, One You, there is a singularity about the spirit, and there must also be a singularity about the life that is lived in it.
Each human body is unified because it is possessed and occupied by one immortal spirit, you.
It is a wonderful discovery to find that you are a temple, that you have a church inside of you, where god is. In hushed silence, attend to him. I don't want angels, I don't want substitutes, I just want god. My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest. This isn't a single commitment; it's a moment-by-moment commitment. It calls you from scattered-mindness to single-mindness. How long is the great mass of gods people going to be so preoccupied with the fringes, the externals. The side issues.
All these years god has been telling us about electricity, and finally some one got it, now we have lights to worship at night.
You see the church itself must never be front and center in neither your life, nor an experience you mustn't be experienced centered. A specialization or a true, good doctrine must never be central, god himself must be central, everything else will make you eccentric-off center.
How can you tell if you are eccentric, well examine yourself, if you follow any leader, any movement, any church, any doctrine, and make it this central to your life and thinking, my friend, your eccentric, you are spiritually of balance.
The first thing to be concerned about was not how much I might serve the lord, but how I might get my soul into a happy state, and how my inner man might be nourished, how to live without any organized religion (book of life).
The Christian experts come to the bible as an book of answers, rather than a book to get them to god.
Think about it how do you worship in spirit, that is how do you worship in the holy spirit and in your human spirit as well (turn the heart of the farther to the son, and the heart of the son to the farther). Firstly it's the Holy Spirit who prompts us to praise correctly, the holy trinity is involved, we get to god on the merits of our lord Jesus, savior, and present master in our lives, and we are helped to do this by the energy and understanding of the holy spirit, we worship in the spirit.
Oh how we must have the help of the Holy Spirit if we're going to worship. There is a powerful downward drag inside us, because by nature we are not god centered, but self centered.
Your friendship is your responsibility. And if your friendships are in Christ, you'll find in these deep gatherings together, that something happens to you. You become an imitator of the people you're with.
Discipling is as crucial a need as there is among believers today. Every Christian needs some older Christian he's learning from, and some younger Christian he's teaching. It is the whole function of the universal trinity to do this.
When a woman knits, she uses two needles, one in her right hand and one in her left, as she knits two pieces of yarn, the left and right come together to become a solid fabric.
I call you not servants, but I call you friends, for a servant does not know what his lord does.
I am writing this to detail how the eternal laws affect us in the flesh.
The eternal law is the capacity for energy to appear as knowledge as all things exist in thought (energy) before they become understanding (knowledge). Thus the eternal law is energy manifested in human understanding (energy-thought-knowledge).
It is what we do with this knowledge that allows our conscience mind to function in human form.
To the eternal law, nothing is dead as all is in motion and the one knows all others.
From this we learn all things are sacred, and then all our interactions are equally as sacred. Learning to act this way requires a certain daily act of courageous commitment.
It requires occasionally doing what is right for the whole rather than for the satisfaction of self, as our focus on the totality of experience is truly spiritual, to live, to honour & celebrate life.
If we are going to believe that spirit exists within and beyond all things, then we are responsible for how we act and respond to others.
Enlightenment is the realisation that you are here to learn how to use energy, this energy that is you, the symbol that represents your energy in your life and how to recognise your inner as your outer in using these symbols.
Ascension is what you are before anything else, it is your self government.
Ascension is structured in such a way that you retain your identity and pattern of uniqueness even though you change constantly, die and are reborn.
Ascension is opening up of the will through combining knowledge and emotions (love).
Ask yourself these questions if you wish to be a leader in the Gádian Faith, they are (1) do you desire in your heart to be a leader? (2) Are you a new believer? (3) Are you devoted to your marital partner? (4) Do your children respond to your leadership? (5) Are you stable in difficult situations? (6) Are you humble in evaluating your talents and gifts? (7) Do circumstances overwhelm you? (8) Are you patient with people? (9) Do you yield to others or must you always be right? (10) Are you willing to give up questionable things in order to be a leader?
If one has all four functions 1) thinking, 2) sensation, 3) feeling, 4) intuition at ones disposal in sufficient measure, which would be the above mentioned ideal state, one could, for example, comprehend an object cognitively, track out by means of intuition its inner concealed potentialities, then, touch it all round by means of sensation and finally, by evaluing its agreeable or disagreeable feel about it.
If all four functions could be raised to equal consciousness, the whole circle of man would be in light, in consciousness manifestation. If a man could do this he would cast off mortal fallibility, he would become a master of his own life.
To be or not to be is the same thing when it comes to work, for no matter what you do, if you did not do it then someone else would, and you would have to do their's.
Aesop's fables tells us of the grasshopper and the ant, the grasshopper played all summer while the ant worked, the grasshopper died in winter and the ant slept well with a full belly.
